The Quality Child Care Niagara (QCCN) Support Visits Will Be Offered Virtually This Fall

Beginning October 2020, QCCN Support Visits will be offered virtually through Zoom. A member of the QCCN Team will be in contact with Centre Supervisors a month prior to the Zoom visit with a list of items that they will be looking for Supervisors to send in advance or have ready for sharing. Supervisors can expect the Zoom “visit” to take no longer than 45 minutes.

The intention of transforming the visit to Zoom is to ensure that safety is maintained while still keeping the QCCN Tools an important priority in our community. Child Care Centres continually see great value in using the tools and we are sure we can continue the QCCN momentum in a way that is less time consuming, is more supportive and takes less time for Supervisors to prepare as we know your time is valuable.

The purpose of the visit is to reconnect and have conversations on how the Team is working together to implement the QCCN Tools, what types of strategies have been put in place, and what further support Teams may require for using the tools during these challenging times.
